Today was a great day. Dad was sent to the P.I to get a few things for mom. Dad and mom kissed each other and Angie took dad to the airport. Mom got out of the house to join me to take Asiah to school. She wanted to go to Walmart too so I packed her walker and her wheelchair in the car. Mom went shopping for a couple of things she's been wanting so she got cereal (COCO KRISPIES,Tuna, Pickles, cute ol' socks and some pajama pants. She meet a friend in the check out line and they exchanged greetings. I told mom " see everyone notices when you not out and about". She smiled. As we where finishing checking out mom told me to take $100 out be cause "we are going to Mrs.T's. I was laughing and then I did what she asked. At least she wanted to get out today. I've learned that you have to let her WANT to do things NOT force her. I was happy that she wanted to go. I would take her any where because it made me feel better that she was not in bed just laying there. When we finished up our outing from Walmart and Mrs.T's mom's leg started to hurt her more and more so when we got home I gave her some of her liquid morphine. At 1.59 Mom asked for a tuna sandwich and a pickle. I brought her half a tuna sandwich(doesn't finish her food if you give her alot) a pickle and some salt and vinegar chips. LOW AND BEHOLD SHE FINISHED IT. I told her GREAT JOB MOM I gave her a High five and took her plate. She laughed a little. I told her it made me feel good to see her finish everything.She smiled.
DAD,
Don't worry MOM is in very good hands. She says she loves you. And she also said you "made a PASS at her when you first met". Smile Dad we are all in this together to help eachother get through rough times. That's what FAMILY is for. WE LOVE YOU AND MOM LOVES YOU
